Micus AB pioneered the market for mobile, intensive-care transportation systems through its introduction of the Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) stretcher, which provides the primary capabilities of a medical intensive-care unit for transporting intensive care patients. After filling its initial order from the Swedish National Air Medevac Service, company management decided to bring the product design function in-house and needed a 3D CAD system to support ongoing development.
