AntiVirus Software and SolidWorks
![]()
Listing of A/V (AntiVirus) applications that have been tested (install and usage) with SolidWorks.
Note:
If your application and version is listed here you DO NOT have to turn off or disable anti-virus during installation (and re-boot). These applications have been tested with new installs and service pack updates for the Mainstream Supported version(s) of SolidWorks.
If your application is not listed here, we cannot verify whether your A/V application will block the instalation of SolidWorks software or Windows component registration. This means you may need to turn off AntiVirus during install and re-boot of the system.
If
appears next to the application, this means there is a problem and you need to disable AntiVirus during the installation and reboot of your computer.
