January 6, 2021 – The SolidXperience group announces new Xtreme Motorsports partnership and renewed association with Micra Cup Series racing champion, Olivier Bédard.

After winning the Driver’s Championship in the 2018 Nissan Micra Cup season and gaining a dominant start in the 2019 season, it is with great pride that Alex Habrich, CEO of the SolidXperience group, and Olivier Bédard, previous Nissan Micra Cup Champion, renew their association and announce the creation of a new racing team based in Montreal, Canada: Xtreme Motorsports. This new professional team will participate in the 2021 Super Production Challenge, in the Super Production class, racing the Nissan 370z custom-built to meet SPC specifications.

“2020 served as a development year for the team and especially for the car. We tested on many racetracks in order to bring out any points to improve on the car and make [it] as competitive as possible. We worked really hard, until the end of November on the track and further at the shop, and the result is a breathtaking and amazing race car to drive for the price.” -Olivier Bédard

The partnership with the SolidXperience group will allow Xtreme Motorsports to not only engage with its regular drivers but also, as early as 2021, offer the possibility to join the team with an all-inclusive ‘Arrive & Drive’ program for drivers wishing to participate in the SPC championship and enjoy their time at the racetrack. For drivers that prefer to be a bit more hands-on, Xtreme Motorsports will offer the possibility to purchase a turn-key race-ready Nissan 370z that meets all SPC specifications.

“There’s a need in the market. If you want a fun-to-drive race car with more than a hundred, and a few more, horsepower you have to go with a GT4 or TCR with a starting price of over $200,000. The only other option is to build a race car yourself, which is very difficult and time consuming.” -Alex Habrich

The spirit of the Super Production Challenge is affordable racing, and Xtreme Motorsports aligns itself with the same values. The full ‘Arrive & Drive’ season with the team is $60,000, inclusive of all fees related to that racing season. For drivers wishing to acquire a race car, the selling price is $65,000 for a car ready to take the green flag at the first race in May 2021.

Xtreme Motorsports has great ambitions for its future, with objectives to run in amateur endurance racing in the United States starting in 2022, as well as to continue its racing operation in Canada. Further details about the race car will be announced in the coming weeks at the moment of its unveiling. In the meantime, you can find more information or contact Xtreme Motorsports on its Facebook page.
