The E2CF is an IDEX 3D printer designed specifically for using carbon fibre-reinforced filaments in 3D printing. This desktop 3D printer is fantastic for production, prototyping, and other uses.

What features do you get with Raise3D E2CF?

  • IDEX System: The main innovation of the Raise3D E2CF is its Independent Dual Extruders (IDEX) system. IDEX enables each extruder to move independently along the same axis during printing. This allows the E2 to print a reverse model simultaneously, without needing a new design file, in Mirror Mode, or an exact copy of the same part in
  • Auto Bed Leveling: The Raise3D E2CF  features Auto Bed Leveling. Auto Bed Leveling uses a sensor to measure the distance between the printing bed and the nozzle at different locations of the bed and uses this information to adjust the nozzle to make sure the right distance between the bed and the nozzles is maintained during printing. This means the extruder can adjust to minor surface contour changes, resulting in improved bed adhesion a better final print quality.
  • HD Camera: The Raise3D E2CF features a camera to monitor the entire 3D printing process of every print job. This camera operates by connecting to RaiseCloud allowing users to keep track of every print job remotely. The ability to check the 3D printing process gives peace of mind.
  • Power loss Recovery: Both a power outage and a filament outage (when the filament runs out) can cause a print job to be lost if they occur in the middle of the 3D printing process. However, the Raise3D E2CF has a filament run-out sensor on its extruders to alert when the filament is about to run out, and save the print job. It also has a power loss function to save its place and continue printing in the event of a power outage.

ABS

  • ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic 3D printing filament characterized by its reliability, stiffness, strength, and impact resistance. It also features higher dimensional stability and chemical resistance.

ASA

  • ASA (Acrylic styrene-acrylonitrile) is an opaque thermoplastic 3D printing filament with similar mechanical properties to ABS but superior UV and weather resistance. Therefore, it is commonly used in outdoor applications which can retain their color and properties.

PETG

  • PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) is an industrial thermoplastic 3D printing filament with excellent chemical resistance. PETG is strong, durable, with good heat resistance, and easy to print.

PLA

  • PLA (Polylactide) is a non-toxic, bio-based industrial thermoplastic that is 100% bio-degradable. It’s notable for being easy to print with, durable, and relatively strong, making it one of the most user-friendly 3D printing filaments available on the market.

PET GF

  • Raise3D Commercial PET GF is a PET-based glass fiber-reinforced polymer thread. (Polyethylene terephthalate). Glass fibers that are evenly distributed improve the stiffness, strength, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance of the PET matrix. With a tensile stiffness and strength of over 4.1 GPa and 70 MPa, respectively, PET GF after heating stabilizes its heat resistance at about 120 °C.

PA12 CF

  • PA12 CF is a Polyamide 12 (PA12, Nylon 12)-based 3D printing filament, reinforced with Carbon Fiber. Carbon Fiber enhances Nylon’s stiffness, strength, rigidity, shrink ratio, and surface quality, as well as improving chemical and thermal resistance

PC (Polycarbonate)

  • PC (Polycarbonate) is a strong thermoplastic 3D printing filament characterized by its excellent impact resistance, high stiffness, heat resistance, and flame-retardant properties. As a result, PC filament can absorb impact, prevent deformation or cracks, and maintain stability under high temperatures and flames. Due to its 110°C heat resistance, PC performs well in high-temperature environments, such as under the hood of a car.

PP (Polypropylene)

  • PP (Polypropylene) is a thermoplastic 3D printing filament and as well as being commonly used in daily life. PP filament is durable, break-resistant, fatigue-resistant, and semi-flexible. Parts that are 3D printed in PP are well-suited for uses that involve twisting, flexing, or bending. PP is also a contact-safe material for food, chemical, and medical applications, including orthopedic use due to its lightweight and low friction characteristics.

TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane)

  • TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) is a flexible and elastic 3D printing filament. Its rubber-like elasticity, resilience, and durability make it suitable for uses requiring impact absorption and a soft-touch surface.

PPA GF

  • PPA GF is a glass fiber-reinforced composite filament material based on PPA. It is distinguished from aliphatic polyamides (e.g.PA6) by higher melting point, glass transition temperatures (Tg), lower moisture absorption, and greater dimensional stability. The incorporation of short glass fibers further improves upon the properties of PPA matrix.

PPA CF

  • PPA CF Filament is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite filament material based on PPA. Thanks to its high-performance Nylon matrix, this composite filament has superior mechanical and thermal properties than other Nylon filaments. The PPA CF has a lower density, lower moisture absorption, high strength and rigidity, high wear and creep resistance, and excellent chemical and heat resistance.

Alloy 910

  • Due to its exceptional mechanical performance with excellent toughness, strength, and impact resistance, nylon or PA (Polyamide) is an extensively used engineering and industrial material. It is suitable for instruments, functional pieces, and end-use components. Additionally, its low coefficient of friction makes it perfect for moving components and ergonomic instruments.

Raise3D-Hyper-Speed-PLA-Filament-2-480x480

Hyper Speed PLA

  • One of the specifically created filaments from the High-speed filament range for FFF printing is the Hyper Speed PLA filament. High-speed printing can result in nozzle blockage and subpar bonding between layers because the filament is passed into the heat block quickly and the polymer has little time to transition from a solid to a molten state.

PET CF

  • A carbon fiber-reinforced polymer material based on PET is called Raise3D Industrial PET CF. (Polyethylene terephthalate). The rigidity, strength, heat, and chemical resilience of the PET material are improved by evenly distributed 15-weight percent carbon fibers. After cooling, PET CF achieves a tensile stiffness and strength of more than 6 GPa and 80 MPa, respectively, and stabilizes its heat resistance at a temperature of about 150 oC. Due to its superior printability, dimensional stability, high creep resistance, and low moisture absorption compared to carbon fiber-reinforced Nylon filament, PET CF is the best material to use when printing carbon fiber composites for durable and economical end uses, such as jigs, fixtures, and functional parts.

Hyper Speed ABS

  • One of the specifically created filaments from the High-speed filament range for FFF printing is the Hyper Speed ABS Filament. High-speed printing can result in nozzle blockage and subpar layer bonding because the filament is passed into the heat block quickly and has little time to dissolve from a solid to a molten state. Additionally, during high-speed printing without a heated room, ABS can experience warpage and delamination of the produced component.
